Hiring CHAI COFFEE CONSULTANT

ABCD Eats Pte Ltd is looking to setup a cafe and is currently on the lookout for an *CHAI & COFFEE CONSULTANT * to conceptualise the beverage menu with our Management team

This *CHAI & COFFEE CONSULTANT * will be responsible for coming up with 8 variations of homemade chai, coffee varieties, and other beverages He/she will also be available to provide on-site training to our beverage and FOH team

Menu discussions and proposals can all be discussed remotely (via Whatsapp, Zoom) However, the consultant will be required to be physically present for training sessions on-site Estimated timeline from date of engagement is about 1 to 1 5 months (depending on the speed at which you’re able to come up with the recipes)

Our Management team will give you a concept brief, and the parameters for you to work within We will also give you examples of the type of chai and the type of coffee that we would like to see in the menu so it will help to streamline your ideas and the work involved

Interested candidates should possess at least 5 years experience working in a cafe as a Head Barista or equivalent He/she should have prior experience in preparing chai-related beverages using brands such as Prana Chai – not syrup-based chai, and not powder-based chai

Interested candidates should be able to comfortably come up with the recipes for:

- 8 varieties of chai

- Varieties of coffee

- Varieties of smoothies and other cold beverages

Job requirements:

- Creating recipes for 8 varieties of chai from scratch

- Creating bottled cold brews

- Calibrating of coffee machine/grinder

- Market list of ingredients

- 3 x training sessions for staff

- 1 x follow-up training session 2 months after opening
