Dragonboat Character building health and social activities

Hi mates, The dragonboat team is recruiting members This is a meaningful character building sport thru sportsmanship, team building and bonding It is also a healthy lifestyle and social activities The team comprises of a good mix of males and females, locals and foreigners from many nationalities, diverse age, race and profession ranging from students to working professionals You can join us regardless of shapes and sizes and if you (a) have never done dragonboat (b) are a non-swimmer (c) are not a sport person Training is on every Sun at 8 am Attendance is not compulsory for the regular Sun training as we understand that this is a recreational sports although most of us are competitive paddlers and train regularly on Sun Meeting venue is located at the Kallang Basin and the meeting time is at 8am for warming up session before boarding the boats Texted me, Andrew, at 963 * to meet you at Kallang MRT Stn at 730am sharp to fetch you to the team meeting place which is a 5 mins walk Bring with you a big water bottle to last a 2 hrs training out in the elements such as the water, wind, sun and beautiful sights You may bring sun block and a pair of shades or sunglasses The attire would be jogging attire less the shoes and socks of course You may put on a pair of slippers or sandals instead Please bring dry clothing to change after the training session if necessary cos most of us dont do that fyi We will loan you the life vest and a paddle for free if you do not have one Let me know if your bag is not waterproof so that we can arrange to keep your bag before the training session Training is free for the first month period only Subsequently, a small annual membership fee of $80 will be collected The fee includes the loan of the life vest, paddle, storage of bag, occasional land training, team bonding activities, BBQ session, team recreational activities and more You will be able to purchase our team jersey and to participate in the local and overseas dragonboat races Keep in touch with me Andrew via telegram artimus1668 or text 963 * or email zenith1668@gmail com if you have clarification Cheers
